Chugach Electric Association, Sr. Vice President, Power Delivery

This executive level position provides the overall direction and control of the transmission and distribution functions of the association.  It participates in the planning, approving, revising and implementing overall policies and strategies of the Association.  BS Degree in Engineering or Business Administration required.  This individual must have 15 years of progressively responsible management experience in electric utility operation, maintenance, design and construction. Experience of directly supervising union craft work teams and departments, labor contract negotiations, engineering design, contract administration, and oversight of major construction projects and related budgets is required. 

Chugach Electric Association, Sr. Vice President, Strategic Planning & Corporate Affairs

This executive level position provides direction and control of the Association's Corporate Planning and Corporate Affairs departments.  It designs and leads the Integrated Resource Plan and Strategic planning efforts among all departments within the association.  It directs the public relations activities and interactions with elected officials at the federal, state, local and neighborhood levels.  This individual must have 15 years of progressively responsible management experience in the electric utility industry with five years at a senior level.  Must be familiar with distribution, transmission, and generation of electric power and fuel supply matters.  Must be experienced in contract negotiations, strategic planning and team building. Experience in government relations, public speaking, organizational mgmt, HR mgmt, finance and marketing desired.

Chugach Electric Association, Manager, Plant Accounting

This position develops and administers an effective corporate plant accounting program.  It also analyzes and reports on the financial implications of major transactions. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required.  Certified Public Accountant preferred.  Five years of experience, two of which are in accounting management in electric utility environment.  Knowledge of all aspects of accounting mgmt, financial planning and other aspects of an electric utility.  Knowledge of FERC system of accounts desirable. Submit resume with application by March 21, 2008.
