The City of Seward is recruiting for a Journeyman Lineman. This is a regular, full-time position, with benefits; pay is DOE.  This position is responsible for performing electrical construction, operation, and maintenance work for the City of Seward.  It requires a thorough knowledge of commonly accepted utility work practices.

Other qualifications include: a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), successful completion of an apprenticeship program certified by the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, Journeyman Lineman exam, and Journeyman Lineman Certification.

Successful applicants must undergo a criminal history check and drug testing.  Preference may be given to previous City employees.  The City of Seward is an equal opportunity employer.
